Calgary has three wins and a tie since dropping its season-opener in BC and currently sits on top of the West Division at 3-1-1. The Stamps recorded a 44-41 comeback victory over the Lions in Week 6.

The Roughriders, under the guidance of former Stamps defensive coordinator Chris Jones, are 1-4 after a 41-3 loss in Montreal on Friday.

This is the first of two meetings between the long-time West Division rivals as the Stamps will make a return visit to Regina the following week.

The Stamps and Riders met twice in 2015 with Calgary winning both games — 34-31 in Regina in Week 9 and 42-19 at McMahon Stadium in Week 19.

Calgary is 2-0 at home so far while the Riders are 0-2 on the road.

The Stamps have scored the most points in the West Division (157) including a total of 80 in home wins over Winnipeg and BC.
