Power visits Canadian Blood Services

Calgary Stampeders running back Charlie Power spent Tuesday afternoon at Canadian Blood Services promoting the team’s Partners for Life program.

As the Stamps official player representative for Canadian Blood Services, Power was interviewed by members of the media before signing autographs and posing for photographs with various blood donors.

Ralph the Dog was also on hand to show his support for those visiting the clinic.

Partners for Life is an initiative allowing companies, organizations and various other groups to unite together to donate blood, platelets and plasma.

The Stampeders have already exceeded their goal of donating 50 units of blood as they current sit at 62 units for the year. However, Stamps fans are encouraged to add to the impressive total and donate on behalf of the Red and White.

A collection of players will return to Canadian Blood Services to make donations once the 2016 season is complete.
