Getting to know… Jamar Wall

Defensive back Jamar Wall has been with the Red and White for five seasons, making his CFL debut on July 12, 2012 against Montreal.

The two-time CFL all-star has amassed 250 defensive tackles and 16 interceptions – including four returned for touchdowns – over 79 regular-season games.

Wall was a running back, defensive back and punter at Plainview High School and rushed for 2,735 yards and 42 touchdowns during his senior season!

The Lubbock, Texas, native played four years at Texas Tech and was named the defensive MVP of the Alamo Bowl as a senior in 2009.

He was then drafted in the sixth round (196th overall) by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2010 and played for both the Houston Texans and the Philadelphia Eagles that season.
