Getting to know… Junior Turner

Junior Turner has spent six seasons with the Stamps, playing 83 regular-season games, eight playoff games and three Grey Cups, winning one in 2014.

He recorded five tackles during the Stamps’ 2014 Grey Cup victory against Hamilton and was nominated as the team’s Most Outstanding Canadian in 2015 after starting all 18 games at defensive tackle.

Turner was drafted by the Stamps in the second round (ninth overall) in 2011 after playing college ball at Bishop’s. He played his first CFL game on July 1, 2011, against Toronto.

We asked the Toronto native a few questions to get to know him a little better.
