DONATION REQUESTS

The Calgary Stampeder Football Club is very active in fulfilling donation requests from charitable and non-profit organizations to assist with their fundraising efforts. In 2007, the Calgary Stampeder Football Club helped raise thousands of dollars for charities and benefits by donating auction items.

While the Stampeders recognize a commitment to charitable concerns, the volume of donation requests we receive on an annual basis has required us to limit the donation requests we fulfill. The Calgary Stampeder Football Club does not provide a monetary value for any auction items provided.

Procedure for Donation Requests

If you are interested in requesting a donation for your event, please follow procedure:

1. Due to the volume of donation requests received on an annual basis, please submit the request 6-8 weeks in advance of the event.
2. Donation requests must be submitted on the charity’s or non-profit organization’s letterhead, including your charitable organization number or GST number.
3. If letterhead is not available, a flyer or other promotional document advertising the event must be submitted.
4. Please include the date of the event, an explanation of the fundraising event, and contact person’s name and phone number.

Which organizations do we support?

The Calgary Stampeder Football Club supports registered and not-for-profit groups throughout Calgary and Southern Alberta that focus on public education, grassroots football, and health and wellness programs. Please note we are unable to accommodate requests for families or individuals.

Due to the volume of requests received, the Calgary Stampeder Football Club will donate directly to a charitable organization rather than to events in support of the given charity.

Although our policies allow us to be generous with our donations, submitting a request does not guarantee your organization will receive a donation. In an attempt to help the greatest number of people, The Calgary Stampeder Football Club will only provide each organization with one item per year.

What items are offered?

We donate Stampeder merchandise including but not limited to, ball caps, t-shirts, sweatshirts, jerseys and footballs. Please note we are unable to guarantee that every item donated will be autographed and items donated are determined at the discretion of the Calgary Stampeder Football Club.

Please note due to the limited availability of seats at McMahon Stadium, game tickets for specific games may not be available for donation purposes.
