KIDSPORT

The Stampeders and KidSport partner on several initiatives through out the season including the "First Down for Kids" program, Stamps/KidSport Mini-Camp and KidSport ProStars Camps.

The First Down for Kids program sees First Calgary Savings donating $10.00 for every rushing yard compiled by Joffrey Reynolds in the season and $100.00 for every touchdown Reynolds scored. KidSport uses these funds to support children who require financial assistance to get involved in football and a variety of other sports in Calgary.

The Stamps/KidSport Mini-Camp was introduced on May 31, 2008 and provided KidSport children and families with a unique football experience at no cost.  Participants engaged with Stamps players, while being led through a series of football-related drills on the McMahon Stadium turf.

For the past two seasons, Stamps players have attended the KidSport ProStars Camp. The camp provides children with the opportunity to experience several sports, including football, hockey, lacrosse and soccer, which they otherwise may not have the resources to try. Pro athletes from each sport are on hand to demonstrate and teach basic sport-specific skills while providing children with a fun, unique experience.
