The CUPS Health & Education Centres and the Calgary Stampeders have enjoyed a partnership for two decades.

The breakfast brings together the Calgary Stampeders and the city’s corporate community in an effort to raise money and awareness for CUPS Health and Education Centres.
Stamps team representative Dimitri Tsoumpas, along with teammates, coaches and alumni, were in attendanc and the breakfast featured an auction, raffle and 50/50 draw.
“CUPS is a great organization and the Stampeders players are once again excited to help out in any way we can,” said Tsoumpas.
In 2010, the CUPS/Stampeders breakfast raised $64,500. Over the past 19 years, the breakfasts have raised $700,000.
“Our main objective as an organization is to ensure that struggling Calgarians are aware of and have access to our services,” said Carlene Donnelly, executive director, CUPS Health and Education Centres. “Having reputable organizations like the Calgary Stampeders and Apache Canada support us gives credence to the work we do.”
The Stamps are also pleased to take part in the annual dinner put on by CUPS and the Knox United Church hold their annual dinner. The event provides a holiday meal for the less fortunate and dozens of community volunteers provide service, hospitality and good cheer for those in attendance.
In addition, the Stampeders assist CUPS by collecting toiletry items throughout the course of the season. Over the years, hundreds of pounds of toiletries have been collected and distributed through the program.
