NEW ADDITION TO BURRIS FAMILY

Quarterback Henry Burris and his wife Nicole welcomed the birth of their second son on Wednesday, Mar. 18, 2009. Barron Grey Burris was born weighing six pounds, 15 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches long. The couple had their first child, son Armand Jaiman in 2006.

The proud papa enjoyed his finest season as a pro in 2008. He was named the Canadian Football League’s West Division most outstanding player for the first time in his career and was a West Division all-star for the second time.

He capped the year by leading the Stamps to a 22-14 victory over the Montreal Alouettes in the 96th Grey Cup in Montreal and was named the game’s most valuable player.

He was also honoured as the Calgary Booster Club’s male athlete of the year.
