BROWNER: Preparation is a very vital key

Preparation is a very vital key aspect to my game. I’m not superstitious at all, so my pre-game routine changes from game to game. What I try to be consistent with is getting prepared for a game. I need to mentally prepare to play a game.
The preparation starts days before a game. I watch film on my opponents and look for specific keys or tendencies. I imagine myself on the field and put myself on the field in each situation. I envision myself in game situations and picture myself making plays and think about worst-case scenarios.
In the game of football, you’re one moment away from a good play or a bad play. That’s why the nights before the game, I’m getting myself ready for whatever could happen.
The most important thing that I do in preparation is remind myself that I have to go out and play my game. Trust in what I do. I really just believe in myself. Confidence is the most important part of my game. You have to trust your stuff. It carries me a long way.
