2024 Outrider Auditions Sunday, February 25!

Date: Sunday, February 25

Time: Doors will open at 11:00AM for check in, auditions will begin at 12:00PM Sharp

Location: Red and White Club at McMahon Stadium (located on the north end of McMahon Stadium 1833 Crowchild Trail)

What To Wear:

Criteria:

• You must be 19 years of age by November 1, 2024.
• You must be able to attend all rehearsals, Stampeders home games and other related activities and community events.
• Dance, cheerleading or gymnastics experience is an asset, but not required.

 Female

• Dance or athletic bra/crop top
• Fitted dance shorts
• Dance shoes or runners
• Hair and make-up should be worn as you envision wearing it on game day.
• Hair must be worn down

Additional information:

• We will start with a group warm-up and across the floor exercises, including but not limited to: walks, high kicks, jumps and turns.
• You will have one hour to learn a one-minute routine similar to what we do on the field during home games. You will perform this routine for the judges in small groups, after which the first cut will be made.
• Those invited to the semi-finals will perform the routine again in small groups, after which a second cut will be made.
• Successful candidates will be notified if they are moving forward to interview.
• Auditions are closed to the public for viewing.
