Lights, camera, smile!
Hey Stamps fans, it’s that time of year again — we are shooting our 2011 calendar! This will be my second season being in the calendar and I am extremely excited.
Last year, I was so nervous and really didn’t know what to expect. This year, I know what to expect so I’m ready to put on my outfit and get in front of the camera and have a great shoot!
The prep for the calendar is a bit more complicated than you would probably expect. From hair to makeup, tans and finding that perfect outfit, it takes time, but we all love it!
We are lucky enough to have a lot of creative input in our calendar, which is probably my favorite part. We are each given the theme of our shoot and from that we get to pick our outfits and how we want our hair done.
The day of the shoot, we start at Influence Salon getting our hair and makeup done then we head to each of our locations for the pictures to start. The shoot lasts about two hours, but it goes by so fast! Being in a professional calendar is such a great opportunity for all of us, and it is so fun.
We are trying something completely new with the calendar this year but, trust me, you won’t be disappointed! In fact, it might your favourite yet!
I won’t give anything away but make sure you pick up your 2011 Outrider calendar before they’re all gone! Our calendars will be released at the Labour Day game, so make sure to be the first to get your copy!
