2016

(Calgary) Wilson started 18 games including eight at right guard, four at right tackle and six at centre. He also started at centre in the Western Final and Grey Cup. He was named a West Division all-star, a CFL all-star and was the Stamps’ nominee for the Jake Gaudaur Veterans’ Award, which is presented annually to the Canadian CFL player who best demonstrates the attributes of Canada’s veterans — strength, perseverance, courage, comradeship and contribution to Canadian communities.

 

2015

(Calgary) Wilson was one of just two offensive linemen who played all 18 games. He had 17 starts, nine at right guard, six at right tackle and two at left tackle. He started the Western Semi-Final at right guard and moved over the centre due to injuries. Wilson started the Western Final at right guard. He was the Stamps’ nominee for Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman and named a West Division and CFL all-star.

 

2014

(Calgary) Wilson played 18 games (16 starts) at right guard. He also started the Western Final and Grey Cup.

 

2013

(Calgary) Wilson played in 12 games and the Western Final. He was on the reserve list for Games 1-2, 4-6 and 13.

 

2012

(Calgary) Wilson started 10 games, seeing action at both left guard and left tackle. He contributed to an offensive line group effort that helped Jon Cornish win the CFL rushing title and allowed the Stamps offence to lead the CFL in rushing touchdowns and total touchdowns while ranking second in points, rushing yards, first downs and pass-completion percentage and third in fewest sacks allowed. Wilson was in the starting lineup for all four of Cornish’s 100-yard games during the season.

 

2011

(Calgary) After spending most of the season on the Stampeders’ practice roster, Wilson was activated for an Oct. 21 contest against Saskatchewan and made his CFL debut. He played a total of three regular-season games in addition to the West Division semifinal and served as a backup on the offensive line.

Junior

Wilson spent three seasons with the Calgary Colts of the Prairie Football Conference and was named to the PFC’s all-star team for three straight seasons. In 2010, he was co-winner of the Keith Evans Trophy, presented to the most valuable lineman on the Colts. Prior to his time with the Colts, Wilson played for the Okanagan Sun junior football team.

 

Personal

Wilson is the Stamps’ player rep for the CUPS organization and also works with the Heart and Stroke Foundation with the Jump Heart for Rope program. He is an alumnus of Calgary’s Henry Wise Wood High School.
