Calgary selected Parker in the first round (third overall) of the 2011 CFL Canadian Draft and he signed on May 20, 2011.

Parker played in five games, starting two, during his second season with the Stamps. He served as a backup receiver and also saw action on special teams.
Parker played 14 games during his rookie season and saw extensive action on special teams in addition to spot duty as a receiver. He made six catches for 89 yards, carried the ball once for seven yards, returned one kickoff for nine yards and returned two punts for 13 yards. His special-teams work also included seven tackles as well as an interception on a fake-punt play by BC on Sept. 17. The first catch of his CFL career came on Aug. 6 against Hamilton. Against the Lions on Sept. 17, he made three receptions for 39 yards. His longest reception of the season was a 29-yarder in Edmonton on Sept. 9.
Parker played just five of eight conference games for the U of C Dinos in 2010 because of an upper arm injury but still earned a second straight Canada West all-star selection. He was named the Western Canada representative to the East-West Shrine Game at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla., becoming the 10th Dino to earn that honour since 1985. He had a season-high 145 receiving yards and three touchdowns in Calgary’s Canada West semifinal win over Regina to earn CIS offensive player of the week honours. In 2009, he led Canada West and finished third in the nation in receiving yards with 816. He added 228 rushing yards and scored a total of 10 touchdowns on the year, five receiving and five rushing. Parker also set a school record by returning the opening kickoff of the Canada West semi-final against Alberta 108 yards for a major. He followed that up with a second kickoff return touchdown in the fourth quarter of the same game. He was named a Canada West all-star and a second team All-Canadian in 2009. In 2008, Parker led the Dinos with 35 catches for 500 yards.
Parker’s father, also named Anthony, played for Stamps in 1990. His uncle Andy Jonassen played for Stamps from 1976-80. Parker spends the off-season in Calgary and hits the court as a member of the Stampeders basketball team.
