For the past seven seasons, the Stampeders have been involved with the Timbits Football Program in partnership with Tim Hortons. Linebacker Juwan Simpson took on the role as program ambassador during the 2010 season.

A group of Stampeders players offer tips to the young football players and act as honourary coaches for Timbits games that take place at McMahon Stadium. Thanks to Tim Hortons, each child in the Timbits program has the opportunity to play under the big lights at McMahon Stadium.

The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship for children who participate in local sports teams. The program emphasis is placed more on fun, learning and participation rather than winning or losing.

There are also valuable lessons the honourary coaches help to instill in kids, such as teamwork, dedication and confidence. All these lessons will help to develop good, solid people as they grow older and progress through life.
