The 24th annual CUPS/Stampeders Kickoff Breakfast, presented by Apache Canada Ltd., will be held on Wednesday, May 11 at the Imperial Ballroom of Calgary’s Hyatt Regency hotel (700 Centre St. SE).
The breakfast — which goes from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. — brings together Calgary’s corporate community to help raise money and awareness for CUPS, a not-for-profit organization that remains on the forefront of helping the most vulnerable individuals and families in our city.
Stampeders president and general manager John Hufnagel will be in attendance along with coaches DeVone Claybrooks and Pat DelMonaco, members of the Outriders and a contingent of players including offensive lineman Spencer Wilson, who is in his first season as the team’s player representative for CUPS. The Stamps have proudly partnered with CUPS for more than two decades.
“The CUPS/Calgary Stampeders Kickoff Breakfast is a sign that the start of a new season is just around the corner,” said Hufnagel. “The people at CUPS do tremendous work and the Stampeders are proud of their long association with this great organization. I’m looking forward to another successful event.”
The breakfast has raised more than $1.1 million for CUPS since its inception.
