After finishing up out on the links, Frank Beltre and Taylor Reed added some sparkle to the clubhouse.

Making an appearance at the 11th annual Tournament of Diamonds presented by the Calgary Airport Authority, Beltre and Reed helped showcase the prizes up for grabs.

The tournament gave eight golfers the chance to take home $500,000 in either cash or Canadian diamonds. As such, Beltre and Reed entered the room carrying a chest full of mock jewels before the true gems were presented.

Wednesday’s event took place at Silverwing Golf Course with a portion of the registration fees donated to Calgary Rotary Challenger Park and Renfrew Educational Services.

Competitions on the course included hole-in-one, shootout, longest drive and longest putt.

A member of the Stamps ticket sales staff was also in attendance to conduct a raffle for a pair of Stampeders jerseys.

Dinner and a live auction followed while guests also mingled with the two members of the Red and White’s defence.
