Frank Beltre and Alex Singleton had a pretty sweet afternoon.
The two Stampeders defenders were tasked with judging cakes created in celebration of the Rockyview General Hospital’s 50th anniversary.
Ranging in size, colour and visually appealing features, nine cakes were designed and decorated by various hospital units for Beltre and Singleton to then rank.
After much deliberation, the top three finishers were presented prizes courtesy of the hospital, with the No. 1 spot being awarded to the Unit 62 team.
Following the competition, the pair of Stamps posed for photographs with staff members and signed posters for any young children attending the event.
The inedible treats will soon be transported to the Hospital’s cafeteria for display purposes.
