McClain signed as an undrafted free agent with the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens in 2012 and was later placed on the Ravens’ practice squad. In 2013, he was with the Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills. McClain spent time on the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears practice squads during the 2014 season and signed with the Arizona Cardinals on Dec. 31, 2014. McClain played 54 games and made 41 starts over four seasons (2008-11) at Clemson University.
