The Calgary Stampeders have signed international defensive back Tre Jones.

Jones signed was signed as an undrafted free agent by the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs in 2016. He played 56 games over four seasons (2012-15) at the University of Mount Union, a Division III school in Alliance, Ohio. He finished his career as Mount Union’s all-time leader with five interception-return TDs and was 10th in interceptions with 12 and second in interception-return yards with 326. During his career with the Raiders, Jones amassed 146 total tackles including 11 tackles for loss. He added one sack, 29 pass breakups and three forced fumbles.

In other transactions, international defensive back Trenton Coles and international linebacker Todd Thomas have been released.
