The Calgary Stampeders have made a number of roster moves in advance of today’s CFL deadline.
The following players have been released:
D’Aguilar is the most experienced player to be released as he appeared in 49 regular-season games and two playoff contests over four seasons with the Stamps after being selected in the second round of the 2013 draft.
D’Aguilar played primarily on special teams, accumulating 35 career special-teams tackles. He also had four defensive tackles, three fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
“I thank Ben for all of his contributions to the Stampeders on and off the field over the past four years and wish him the best of luck,” said Stampeders president and general manager John Hufnagel.

In addition, the Stamps have signed international linebacker Wynton McManis and placed him on the practice roster. McManis played two games with the San Francsico 49ers in 2016 after signing with the club as an undrafted free agent.
Over the course of a four-year collegiate career at Memphis, he recorded 111 total tackles including 9.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two pass breakups. McManis was a team captain during his senior year with the Tigers.
