The Calgary Stampeders have added international receiver Reggie Begelton to the practice roster.

Here is more information on the addition:

Reggie Begelton
#84
Receiver
College: Lamar
Height: 6.02
Weight: 201
Born: Aug. 31, 1993
International

Begelton originally signed with the Stampeders on May 17 and he had five catches for 88 yards and one touchdown in Calgary’s pre-season contest against the BC Lions on June 6. An injury prevented him from playing in the Stamps’ second pre-season contest and he was released on June 17.

Begelton attended rookie mini-camp with the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons in 2016 and he also had a tryout with the Oakland Raiders. He graduated as Lamar University’s all-time leader in catches (227) and yards (2,435) and was second in touchdown catches with 20. Begelton was first-team all-Southland Conference in 2015 and a second-team selection in both 2013 and 2014.

In another transaction, international defensive back Jarrett Bush has been released from the practice roster. Prior to being placed on the practice roster, Bush played two games for the Stamps this season and recorded two special-teams tackles.
