The Stampeders kick off an important stretch of games as they travel to Vancouver to face the BC Lions on Friday. Kickoff at BC Place is at 8:30 MDT and the game will be broadcast on TSN, ESPN3, News Talk 770 and Sirius XM 167.

The Stamps and Lions are two of three teams bunched up in the middle of the West Division as Calgary (5-1-1) has a one-point lead on both BC (5-3) and Winnipeg (5-2) for second place. Friday’s contest is the start of a six-game chunk of the schedule during which the Stamps play five divisional opponents including two games against the Lions and the traditional Labour Day-week home-and-home series against the first-place Edmonton Eskimos.

The Stamps, who were on a bye last week, carry a three-game winning streak into Friday’s game while BC dropped a 41-8 decision to the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Sunday in Regina. Calgary is 2-1-1 on the road so far in 2017 while the Lions are 2-1 at home.

Calgary has prevailed in three of their four most recent regular-season trips to BC Place.
