Stamps to host Western Final

The Calgary Stampeders have clinched first place in the West Division and will host the Western Final on Sunday, Nov. 19 at McMahon Stadium.

The Stamps (13-2-1) officially locked up top spot in the division as a result of today’s loss by the second-place Winnipeg Blue Bombers against the Toronto Argonauts.

It’s the 20th first-place finish in team history and the Stamps have finished at the top of the West in four of the past five seasons. They have 14 division titles since the start of the 1990 season.

The Stamps’ next action comes next Saturday when the Red and White travel to Edmonton to face the Eskimos. The regular season wraps up at McMahon on Nov. 3 when the Stamps face the Blue Bombers.
