As part of a new league-wide initiative, the Calgary Stampeders are disclosing 10 players on their current negotiation list.

It’s the first of two occasions a 10-player list will be made public by each CFL club, with the other taking place in December.

Teams adding an international or undrafted national player to their negotiation list retain exclusive CFL rights to that player. Players can be added, removed or traded from the list at any time.

Each team’s negotiation list can contain up to 45 players.

Here are 10 players currently on the Stampeders’ negotiation list:

Josh Allen (offensive lineman): Allen spent a portion of the 2017 season on the Stamps’ practice roster. Allen signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2014 and appeared in three NFL games that season. Allen attended training camp with the Buccaneers in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and also spent time with the San Francisco 49ers in 2016. In college, Allen played 47 games over four seasons at Louisiana-Monroe and was named second-team all-Sun Belt Conference as a junior in 2012 after starting all 13 games at centre for the Warhawks.

He was a sixth-round pick by the Giants in the 2014 NFL draft. He played college football at Notre Dame, recording 158 total tackles and six interceptions in 52 games over four seasons.

In 40 career games at Louisiana State University, Johnson recorded 77 tackles including 22 tackles for loss and as well as seven sacks.
