We’ve got a team full of fighters, they got tough on us a little bit at some points but we all battled. It’s good to be able to call it a win, especially against a team like that.

It was a great atmosphere in Regina, it’s good to play in those types of environments. That’s the best time to play, it brings the most competition.

I felt like I did decent in the first half on special teams, and then I started getting a little bit tired and didn’t do as well. But I waited until my number was called and tried to help the team win at the end with my first CFL sack.

I only got one pass rush route earlier in the game and they just played me for speed. So when I got the second chance I knew that if I used my power move, they’d let me walk right to the quarterback.

I feel like I’ve been doing it throughout practice, it was awesome applying it to a game and being able to do that in game situations.

That sack put them back, and basically stopped that drive at the end.

It felt good, ain’t nothing like getting a sack!

Hopefully it’s a sign of more to come.
