Begelton Honoured As a Player of the Week

Calgary Stampeders receiver Reggie Begelton has been honoured as a Canadian Football League player of the week for his play in the Stamps’ 43-28 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

On Saturday at Hamilton’s Tim Hortons Field, Begelton had five catches for 150 yards to help the Stampeders improve to 10-2 on the season. His performance was highlighted by a 99-yard catch-and-run touchdown in the third quarter. Begelton also made the reception on the subsequent two-point conversion as Calgary extended its lead to 34-25.
