Saturday’s game marks the last regular-season contest at McMahon Stadium for BC Lions head coach Wally Buono, who has announced his intention to retire at season’s end. Buono led the Stamps’ coaching staff from 1990-2002 and is the winningest coach in franchise history.

Back on Aug. 4, the Stamps triumphed 27-19 over the visiting Lions. In their last 11 meetings with BC in Calgary, which includes two playoff contests, the Stamps have gone 10-1.

The Stamps are 7-0 at home this season and 4-2 against West Division teams. The Lions are 1-6 on the road and 2-4 against the West.

These two teams will clash once again in early November to close out the regular season in Vancouver.
