Calgary Stampeders vs Saskatchewan Roughriders

The Calgary Stampeders will conclude the home portion of their 2018 regular-season schedule with a matchup against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Calgary, currently at 12-3, has secured a home playoff game and can wrap up first place in the West Division with a win or tie against the 10-6 Riders.

Week 18 saw both teams come out on the losing end. The BC Lions handed the Stamps their first loss of the season at McMahon Stadium, a 26-21 setback. Meanwhile, Saskatchewan was shut out 31-0 on the road in Winnipeg.

The Roughriders are the only squad yet to visit Calgary this year. These two teams played both of their previous meetings in Regina as the Stampeders took the first contest 34-22 before the Riders responded 22 days later with a 40-27 victory.

A 7-1 home record for the Red and White is the best in the CFL while Saskatchewan is 5-3 as the visitor.

Defensive lineman Micah Johnson of the Stamps sits second in the league with 11 sacks, trailing only Charleston Hughes who has recorded 15 quarterback drops with the Roughriders.

Don’t miss the fun in the Fan Zone

Beginning at 2:30 p.m., a live DJ, Stamps player autographs, interactive sponsor activations and other exciting attractions will be included in the Fan Zone in the East parking lot.

The Salvation Army Coat Drive

An annual tradition at McMahon, The Salvation Army Coat Drive supported by Q107 is on Saturday. New or gently used winter coats will be collected before and during the game by The Salvation Army volunteers outside each stadium entrance as well as next to the Fan Zone at the end of the LRT walkway. These coats will help share the warmth with those in need of additional clothing in Calgary this winter.

Halftime Giveaway

Presented by Calgary Harley-Davidson, halftime will feature one of eight randomly selected fans winning a Calgary Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Jerseys Off Our Backs

The Jerseys Off Our Backs event is back for another year. Forty-six randomly selected fans will be taking home a jersey worn by a Stamps player this season. The lucky winners will be invited onto the field after the game for a Stamps player to sign and present their game-worn jersey.
