Blog: Cordarro Law

The Grey Cup week has been fun this year because I get to play. Last year I sat out and watched on the sidelines – I was devastated.

Not saying that if I would have played, we would’ve won – but I feel I could’ve made a play or two to help the guys out. Hopefully this year I can make a few plays and get a win.

It’s been a big year for the D line – we need to keep up the pass rush.

It’s definitely important because the pass rush controls the game. If you’ve got a good pass rush that controls a lot, because it affects the quarterback and that’s the main guy on the field. That’s the key to the game.

It’s a different feeling this year, we’re dialed in.

This is one of the closest teams I’ve been on, a lot of guys that love each other and want to win.

The cold isn’t bothering us, either. If it’s cold tomorrow, it doesn’t matter. This is the championship so if you can’t get up and come out here no matter what the weather is you don’t deserve to be here.

We’ve just got to play hard. Ottawa’s a good team, they’re not going to come in here and lay down. We’re not either – so we’re going to play hard.
