Year In Review: Bo Levi Mitchell

It was a year to remember for the Stamps gunslinger.

Not only did Bo Levi Mitchell complete is ultimate goal of winning the Grey Cup, but he added plenty of extra hardware and titles along the way.

“It just felt like as an organization we’ve been on top too much not to finish the job for (our fans). They’ve given us everything. It just feels amazing to get it done for the city of Calgary.”

During the 2018 season, Mitchell passed for 5124 yards and 35 touchdowns en route to winning his second CFL Most Outstanding Player award in the last three seasons. The eight-year vet was named a CFL West All-Star for the third time, and also made his second appearance as a CFL All-Star.

As Mitchell continued to rack up the passing yards in 2018, he climbed the CFL’s All-Time passing list, moving from the 35th spot to the 21st spot in one season. On his way up the ladder, he passed names such as Warren Moon, Peter Liske, Khari Jones, Tom Wilkinson, Dave Dickenson, and John Hufnagel.
