McMahon Stadium is the place to be for families this summer.
June through October is packed with fun events that’ll be sure to keep the whole family entertained.
Family Day Game
It will be a great time for fans of all ages as the Stamps celebrate Family Day on Saturday, Sept. 14, when they take on the Hamilton Ticats.
Starting at 11 a.m., there will be a free pre-game tailgate party at the Gridiron Gardens. We’ve partnered with the Family Channel and Kidomo to bring in several of your kids’ favourite characters, including Chase and Sky from Paw Patrol, Ironman and Spiderman. Bouncy castles, airbrush tattoos, music, food trucks, and tons of other kid and parent-friendly activities.
Light Up the Night
Friday Night Lights and fireworks.
Need we say more?
On Oct. 11, bring the family for a night of bright lights as the Stamps take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders at Light Up the Night, presented by RE/MAX. Following the tilt, stick around for post-game fireworks show set to a soundtrack of great tunes.
Little Miss Outrider
Have you ever wanted to know what it takes to be part of the Calgary Stampeders Outrider dance team?
Girls between five and 15-years old can find out this summer with the Little Miss Outrider program.
Through two rehearsal times with the help of the dance team, these young ladies will prepare for a half-time performance at McMahon Stadium on Sept. 14 when the Stamps take on the Hamilton Ticats.
No dance experience is necessary. Registration coming soon!
Gridiron Gardens
Home of the tailgate.
The Gridiron Gardens has everything a Stampeders family could ask for — enjoy some music, some food and drink, and a place to get geared up before the game!
And best of all — with a ticket for the game, admission to the Gardens is FREE!
The Gridiron Gardens will make its season debut on Friday, May 31 before the Stamps’ pre-season contest against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Safeway/Sobeys Family Huddle tickets
For just $21.99 plus GST, you can sit in the Safeway Sobeys Family Huddle.
This section is a general admission, non-alcohol zone located in Section A, Rows 1-70.
You can purchase tickets at all Safeway and Sobeys locations in Calgary & participating locations in surrounding areas.

McMahon Stadium is sure to hold some of your family’s summer favourites in its 24 concession options. Grab a freshly-squeezed lemonade from one of two lemonade kiosks and soak up the sun in the stands.
Feeling a little hungry? Grab a Calgary classic in a Pocket Dawg.
Feeling a lot hungry? Grab a Huff’s Burger — be sure to use both hands though. And grab napkins!
