The Calgary Stampeders conclude the regular-season portion of their home schedule on Saturday when they play host to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in a critical West Division contest and the front end of a home-and-home series. Kickoff at McMahon is 5 p.m. MDT.

The Stamps (10-5) and Bombers (10-6) are two of three teams tied with 10 wins at the top of the West heading into Week 19 with Calgary and the Saskatchewan Roughriders each holding a game in hand on Winnipeg. Both teams were winners last week as the Stamps defeated the Riders 30-28 at McMahon Stadium while the Bombers were 35-24 winners against the visiting Montreal Alouettes.

Calgary is looking to even the season series with the Bombers after dropping a 26-24 decision in Winnipeg on Aug. 8. The rivals will meet again next week in Manitoba.

The Stamps are 6-2 at home and 6-1 against the West so far this season while the Blue Bombers are 3-5 on the road and 6-2 against division rivals.

With last week’s victory over Saskatchewan, the Stamps have clinched a 12th consecutive winning season. That ties longest run of over-.500 seasons in franchise history, matching the 12 consecutive winning seasons posted by Calgary from 1989-2000. In CFL history, the Stamps are second only to the Edmonton Eskimos, who had 14 straight winning seasons from 1984 to 1997.

PinkPower

The Stamps will continue supporting the fight against women’s cancers with their annual PinkPower game. Limited-edition PinkPower toques, mittens and scarves will be for sale on game day at the end of the C-Train walkway, outside stadium entrances and in the Stamps Store for $20 per item. All proceeds will be directed toward the Canadian Cancer Society.

Fan Zone

Located in the East parking lot, the Fan Zone will be open from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The fun will include a DJ, player autographs, food and beverages courtesy of Red Plate, partner activations and a photo booth with free printouts.

Red City Drum Line

The team’s drum line will be performing both before and during the game.

Grey Cup Festival giveaways

Tickets to various Grey Cup Festival events will be awarded to fans throughout the evening.

Halftime

Members of the Outriders alumni will be showcased in a special halftime performance.

Jerseys Off Our Backs

The Jerseys Off Our Backs event is back for another year. Forty-six randomly selected fans will be taking home a jersey worn by a Stamps player this season. The lucky winners will be invited onto the field after the game for a Stamps player to sign and present their game-worn jersey.
