For the fifth time in the last seven years, the Calgary Stampeders wrap up their regular-season schedule with a visit to Vancouver’s BC Place and a game with the Lions.

Heading into the weekend, the Stamps (11-6) can still finish anywhere from first to third in the West Division. A victory would clinch a home playoff game, and a loss by the Saskatchewan Roughriders earlier in the day would give Calgary an opportunity to host the Western Final on Nov. 17. BC (5-12) has been eliminated from playoff contention.

Calgary is looking to get back on the winning track after a 29-28 road defeat to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers last Friday. The Lions are coming off a bye with their most recent action coming on Oct. 18, a 27-19 home loss to Saskatchewan.

This is the second meeting of the season between the Stamps and Lions as Calgary picked up a 36-32 comeback victory in Week 3 at McMahon Stadium. The Stampeders are riding a three-game winning streak at BC Place and overall have won eight of their nine most recent meetings with the Lions including the 2016 Western Final. A win on Saturday would even up their all-time record in Vancouver at 47-47-3.

Entering Week 21, linebacker Wynton McManis of the Red and White sits second in the CFL with 101 defensive plays made. BC’s Sergio Castillo has a field-goal percentage of 90.9, a league-leading figure.

The Stamps are 4-4 on the road and 7-2 against the West so far this season while the Lions are 3-5 at home and 0-9 against division rivals.
