But before you stroll on into McMahon Stadium, there have been some changes you should know about. With some new guidelines and a mobile ticketing plan for 2021, we’ve created this handy set of FAQs to help you understand what’s new about coming to the stadium this season!

What health measures will be in place at McMahon Stadium?
The Stampeders are following all guidance provided by the Government of Alberta and public health officials.

Will the gates be opening early?
We anticipate that gates will continue to open one hour prior to kickoff for all Stampeders home games. As mentioned above, this may change based on guidance from the Government of Alberta and public health officials.

Have the prices changed for the 2021 season?
The new schedule consists of 8 games compared to the usual 11 that is included in your membership. The cost of each membership has been reduced by 3 games to reflect this change. The price on a per game basis has remained the same as it would have been for 2020.

What are my payment options for my 2021 season ticket membership?
We offer four different payment options.

  • Pay in Full
  • 25% deposit followed by a 75% payment
  • 3 equal payment option and
  • 5 month payment option

Detailed payment plan dates are available to view by logging in to your myStamps Account online.

Will there be a Season Ticket Member Relocation Event?
The Relocation Event for 2020 was held prior to the onset of the pandemic. If you would like to relocate your season tickets, please contact the Customer Service Team (403-289-0258 or customerservice@stampeders.com) and we would be happy to assist you with exploring potential alternate seating options.

How will I access my Parking Pass?
Parking passes will be printed and mailed for the 2021 season. If you have a pass as part of your Season Ticket Membership package and you do not receive it the week before the first game, please contact the Customer Service Team at 403-289-0258.

Will there be hand sanitizer stations easily accessible around the stadium?
Hand sanitizer stations will be present throughout McMahon Stadium based on guidance from the Alberta Government and public health officials.

Will there be additional cleaning staff and attendants in the washrooms to ensure the cleanliness of the stadium during the game?
Yes, there will be additional cleaning staff and attendants in the washrooms.

Will there be any extensions of the concourse to allow fans to have more space during half time?
No, there will not be any alterations to the concourse at McMahon Stadium.

Will re-entry be allowed at McMahon Stadium?
Yes, re-entry will be allowed.

Will the Stamps Store be open at full capacity?
Should capacity limitations be required, we will adhere to all guidelines at the Stamps Store.

Will noise makers be allowed?
Yes, as in previous seasons non-electronic noisemakers are allowed. Please be conscious of others around you when using noise makers, as they can be removed if they begin to impact others’ enjoyment of the game.

Will the 50/50 be available in 2021?
Yes, the Stampeders 50/50 will be sold in stadium as well as on online for all Alberta residents. New in 2021, the 50/50 will be available for both home and away games.

Will Tailgating be allowed at McMahon? Will there be any public safety restrictions?
Tailgating will be allowed. The Stampeders are following guidance from the Government of Alberta and public health officials, any changes will be communicated to all Season Ticket Members.

Will all concessions at McMahon Stadium be open?
All concessions will be open during the 2021 season. New in 2021, McMahon Stadium will be a cashless venue. More information will be communicated to all fans in advance of the 2021 season start in August.

McMahon Stadium’s entry policy remains the same: no outside food or drink is permitted inside McMahon Stadium with the exception of water.

Will the Stamps practices be open to fans?
Practices will not be open to fans in order to insure the safety of our staff and players.

Will sideline experiences be open to fans?
Sidelines will not be open to fans for the 2021 season.

Will the Telus Patio be open?
Telus Patio will be open and accessible for the 2021 season, contact a sales representative for more details at groupsales@stampeders.com

Will I be required to enter a specific gate?
A recommended gate will be specified on your mobile ticket for the quickest way to reach your section and seats. However, you will not need to enter through that gate only.

Is the Ticket Office open?
The Ticket Office remains closed but our phones are open during business hours and we have access to our emails while we work remotely. Please contact the Customer Service Team at 403-289-0258 or by email, customerservice@stampeders.com.

2021 MOBILE TICKETING FAQ

 

How will I get my tickets for the 2021 season?
In 2021 we will be using Mobile Ticketing exclusively for you to access, manage, and scan your game tickets using myStamps Account. This will allow you to enter McMahon Stadium by scanning your ticket directly off your mobile device. We will not have paper tickets beginning in 2021. Additional details on Mobile Ticketing will be sent to all Season Ticket Members in advance of tickets becoming available through myStamps Account in mid-July.

How do I access my Mobile Tickets?
You must log in to your myStamps account to access your tickets. To view your game ticket for scanning and entry, log in to myStamps Account on your mobile device to view your ticket. You will also be able to add your tickets in advance to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay to view with ease when you access the gates at McMahon Stadium.

Can I get a printed ticket?
Printed tickets will not be available to enter McMahon Stadium. Your mobile device is your ticket, and will be the only way to access and manage your season tickets.

Will I still be able to print tickets at home and bring that to the game with me?
You will not be able to print tickets from home. Tickets can only be accessed using a mobile device through your MyStamps account.

What form of tickets do I need/can use to enter on game day?
A Mobile Ticket on a mobile device will be the only form of ticket available to enter McMahon.

What do I do if I am unable to access my Mobile tickets?
Please contact the Customer Service Team (403-289-0258 or customerservice@stampeders.com) for assistance with accessing your Mobile Tickets.

Can I transfer my seats to someone?
Yes, you are still able to transfer your tickets.

  • Mobile Ticketing allows you to transfer your individual game tickets to a friend, family member, or client – the same way you have been able to in past seasons.
  • If you would like to transfer your Season Ticket Membership, please contact the Customer Service Team (403-289-0258 or customerservice@stampeders.com) and we would be happy to assist you with your membership transfer.

Can I still resell my seats on Ticketmaster if I am unable to attend a game?
Yes, for seats in sections C-I and P-V, you are still able to resell your tickets through Ticketmaster. Log in to your MyStamps account in order to post your seats for sale.

Can I still exchange my tickets from a missed game to a future game?
Yes, you can exchange any unused games or upcoming games for additional tickets to any game in the regular season. In 2021, you will be able to exchange your tickets directly through myStamps Account. If you have any questions please contact the Customer Service Team.

Am I still able to donate my tickets to Kids Up Front?
Yes. You will be able to donate your tickets to Kids Up Front directly through your myStamps Account.

Will I be able to leave tickets for someone at will call?
Mobile Ticketing allows you to transfer tickets directly to friends, family members, or clients without having to leave them at will call. Since all tickets are viewed on mobile devices, there will not be any physical tickets to leave at will call.

CASHLESS FAQ

 

New for the 2021 Stampeders season, McMahon Stadium will be a cashless building. All concession stands, retail locations, and 50/50 ticket sellers inside McMahon Stadium will be moving to cashless transactions, with contactless terminals that will allow debit, credit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and gift cards as methods of payment.

Why have you become a cashless building?
The health and safety of our fans, players, and staff is our top priority. Coming out of the Covid-19 pandemic, reducing points of contact including the handling of cash is an important tool to help protect health and safety for all. In addition, we have listened to feedback from our fans and Season Ticket Members that additional payment options, especially debit cards, is very important. Cashless transactions will allow us to facilitate a wider variety of popular and convenient payment options.

Can I still use cash at McMahon Stadium?
Cash will no longer be accepted at concession, retail, and 50/50 locations inside McMahon Stadium. You will only be able to use your debit or credit card, as well as Apple Pay or Google Pay on your mobile device (including smartwatches), at all points of purchase. McMahon Stadium gift cards will also be available to purchase online, additional details on this process are coming soon.

Which payment methods will be available as part of cashless transactions?

I have Stamps Bucks from prior seasons. Can I continue to use them for transactions?
Stamps bucks will need to be exchanged for a McMahon Stadium gift card.  Stamps bucks can be exchanged in person at McMahon Stadium during games by visiting the Beer Shack on the Northwest corner of the concourse.

Can I bring cash with me and exchange it for a gift card at McMahon Stadium?
Gift cards need to be purchased in advance, we are unable to exchange cash for gift cards at McMahon Stadium on game day. To purchase a gift card, please click here.

STAMPEDERS FOUNDATION 50/50 PROGRAM PRESENTED BY RE/MAX – 2021 UPDATE

 

The Stampeders Foundation 50/50 Program presented by RE/MAX will be back this season! You will be able to purchase your 50/50 tickets at the games from volunteer sellers around the building, as in past seasons. Please note, we are not accepting cash or debit for 50/50 ticket purchases – credit card only.

You will also be able to participate in the raffle draws online, while you are at the game or watching from home. The 50/50 jackpot will be the combination of online and in-person sales, so everyone is participating in the same draw! Tickets can be purchased at www.stampeders.com/50-50 starting on August 5th for all Stampeders HOME AND AWAY games. Tickets will now be on sale from 9am to 10pm MT during all Stampeders home games. The draw will not take place during the game. All draws close at 10:00pm with the winner announced online and on social shortly after the closure of the draw.
