Big Game Carries Ka’deem To Cfl Award

Running back Ka’Deem Carey has been honoured as one of the CFL’s top performers of Week 10 following his performance in the Calgary Stampeders’ 22-19 victory against the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Regina on Saturday.

Carey had 178 yards from scrimmage for the Stamps including his second career 100-yard rushing game – 109 yards on 20 carries, to be precise. He had also had five receptions for 69 yards, a total that included 61 yards gained after the catch.

The third-year Stampeder played a key role in the last-minute drive that led to the win as his 11-yard carry got the Red and White into Saskatchewan territory and he added eight more rushing yards to set up Rene Paredes’ game-winning field goal on the final play of the game.

Carey is the third Calgary player to be honoured as a CFL top performer as defensive lineman Stefen Banks and receiver Kamar Jorden were recognized in Week 6.
