It’s finally February which means one of – if not – the most exciting part of the CFL off-season begins:
Free Agency!
In eight days, any remaining pending FAs will hit the market, allowing clubs to make acquisitions of their choosing.
However, we are currently in the Free Agency communication window (which opened Feb. 2).
This means teams can openly talk with pending free agents or their CFLPA-registered designates.
For more details on the communication window, click here.
As a refresher, here’s a list of Stamps players who will become free agents if not signed by 10 a.m. MT on Feb. 11.

Mark Your Calendars
While it took longer than recent years, the CFL schedule was finally revealed in the middle of January.
From the inaugural Stampede Bowl to the beloved Labour Day Classic, there’s plenty to look forward to this season.
The Red and White’s 2025 campaign consists of:
• Pre-season games on the road against the BC Lions on May 19 and at home against the Edmonton Elks on May 24
• Fans get their first regular-season look at the revamped Calgary squad when the Stamps play host to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the home-opener on June 7
• In addition to the Labour Day Monday contest, regular-season dates at McMahon also include two Thursdays, one Friday and five Saturdays
• Five summer home dates – three in June, one in July and one in August – prior to the Labour Day Classic
• Byes in Weeks 4, 11 and 15
Happy Birthday To Ya
There is only one Stampeder birthday for the month of February, new addition P.J. Walker.
