Following last night’s postponed game due to smoke, the Stampeders showed no ill effects, dominating the Saskatchewan Roughriders on their way to a 24-10 victory in Regina on Saturday afternoon.
The Stamps leap to 4-1 on the season and into first place in the West, while the Riders fall to 4-1 following their first loss of the season.

It was a quick start for the Riders on Saturday afternoon as linebacker A.J. Allen picked off Vernon Adams Jr. on the first offensive play of the game. That turnover led to a 47-yard field goal to open the scoring.
Calgary was driving following the Roughriders field-goal but once again turned the ball over, this time on a fumble in Saskatchewan territory.
Following a Riders punt, the Stamps put together an 11 play drive resulting in a 21 yard touchdown from Adams Jr. to Damien Alford for his second major in as many games.

The score was 7-3 Stampeders after one quarter of play.
The next Stampeders drive went 88 yards, including a 36 yard pass to Alford, before Rene Paredes booted a field-goal from 16 yards out.
Calgary forced a turnover of their own on the next Riders possession. Former Roughrider Derrick Moncrief ripped the ball out and recovered it on his own to set the Red and White up with great field position. After driving inside the Riders 10-yardline, Adams Jr’s pass was deflected at the line resulting in an interception.
