The Stampeders will look to bounce back following a 23-21 loss to the Alouettes last week. The Red and White head to Ottawa Thursday for a Week 9 clash with the Redblacks. Kickoff is 5:30 p.m. MT. All signs point to P.J. Walker making his first start under center in the CFL with Vernon Adams Jr. out with an injury. The Stamps find themselves second in the West at 5-2 entering Thursday’s battle, just two points behind the Roughriders for tops in the division.

The Redblacks have struggled through the first third of the season sitting at 1-6 and dead last in the East Division. Dru Brown will make his return to QB after missing last week with an injury. Last time out, Ottawa fell 30-15 to Hamilton. They are coming off a bye and looking to gain ground on Toronto, who sit two points ahead of them for third in the East.

The Stamps will look to avenge a 20-12 home loss to the Redblacks in Week 3 to wrap up their two-game season series. Dedrick Mills had 15 carries for 96 yards in the first matchup.

Redblacks: QB Dru Brown: Brown enters the Redblacks Week 9 matchup with 1,078 yards passing and five touchdowns in four starts this year. His 73.1% completion percentage is second best among starters this season.
