The Stamps are heading up Highway 2 for a meeting with their division rivals after taking down the Roughriders 20-15 in their first exhibition contest.
Calgary will meet the Edmonton Elks at Clarke Stadium on Friday, May 29 at 7 p.m. MT for their final pre-season game before final cuts are made on the weekend.
Fans can catch all the action on CFL+ or listen on QR Calgary.
The Red and White will return to McMahon Stadium to kick off their home opener on June 5 at 7 p.m. MT, to take on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The Elks return to Alberta with some momentum after taking down the BC Lions 34-16 in Week 2 of the CFL preseason at Starlight Stadium in Langford, B.C. last Saturday.
3. Head to Head
Calgary’s most recent pre-season matchup with the Elks came in 2025 when the Stampeders claimed a dominant 31-4 victory at McMahon Stadium.
In 2025, the Stamps bested the Elks in two out of their three meetings, handing Edmonton a 28-7 loss at McMahon Stadium in the Labour Day Classic and defeating their west division rivals again in Week 21 with a 20-10 victory at Commonwealth Stadium.

Friday’s pre-season game in Edmonton will be Calgary’s first game at Clarke Stadium since July 13, 1978, which was six weeks before the site’s last CFL game.

Stamps: QB Ben Wooldridge: The first-year CFL QB will get his first crack at the Battle of Alberta in Friday night’s tilt with the Elks. In his first pre-season outing against the Riders, Wooldridge completed three-of-four passes for 50 yards.
Elks: REC Carter Kettyle: The rookie receiver posted a 58-yard touchdown in his first pre-season outing against the Lions. The Alberta product played 22 games over four years (2022-2025) at the U of A, registering 101 receptions for 1,695 yards and 17 touchdowns.
