The Stamps battled to the end in Montreal but fell 37-30 to the Alouettes in the first of back-to-back meetings between the clubs.

Dejon Brissett led the way offensively picking up a pair of touchdowns in as many weeks. Vernon Adams Jr. continued his hot play, throwing for three touchdowns in the tilt.

STAT PACK

Vernon Adams Jr. – 19-for-34, 266 yards, three TD’s, six carries, 43 yards
Dejon Brissett – five receptions, 86 yards, two TD’s
Jalen Philpot – three receptions, 66 yards
Clark Barnes – three receptions, 40 yards, TD

The Alouettes struck first after tacking on a field goal to take a 10-0 lead midway through the first quarter.

The Red and White answered back when Adams found Brissett in the back of the end zone for a 20-yard touchdown to cut the lead to 10-7 heading into the second quarter.

Fast track to the third quarter, the Stamps offence picked up, and it was Adams connecting with none other than Brissett again for the 11-yard touchdown. That was Brissett’s fourth touchdown in his last two games played.

In the fourth quarter, the Red and White inched closer when Clark Barnes hauled in a 19-yard reception to the house to cut the lead. It wasn’t enough as the Alouettes held on for a 37-30 win.
