Years on the Outriders: 1
Education & Career: I have a BSc in Kinesiology, and I work as a Bovine Embryo Technician and on my family’s farm
What inspired you to audition for The Outriders?
I’ve been a competitive dancer my whole life and I absolutely love performing! Seeing the talent and positive energy this
team brings to the community I knew I had to try out. I attended the Little Miss Outrider program when I was young and it’s so cool to be back on the field now as an Outrider!
What is your all time dance career highlight?
Making the Outriders! I’m so excited for the season and getting the chance to perform with this amazing team.
Who is someone you admire, and why?
Coming from a farming community I’m lucky to have a lot of strong role models in my life. My parents especially taught me
the value of working hard for what you love and taking pride in the work you do. I admire them the most!
What organization are you most excited to work with this season?
Alberta Children’s Hospital! They provide amazing care for the kids of Calgary and bring so much positivity through their
community involvement, I can’t wait to be a part of it.
If you were a superhero, what superpower would you have?
Telekinesis of course! I would be able to lift myself to fly, move atoms to gain or lose heat, repair anything even down to the molecular level, the possibilities are endless. Chores would also be a lot easier.
What advice would you give someone who wants to join the Outriders?
Keep training your technique and performance! Having confidence in your dance ability makes a big difference at auditions.
The Outriders host a series of drop-in classes that are a great way to work on your dancing and get to know some girls on
the team as well!
