Three words to describe myself: Ambitious, Hardworking, big-hearted
Why I wanted to become an Outrider: I love to dance, I have been dancing since I was 3 years old.
Favourite subject in school: Economics
Best concert I’ve been to: Coldplay in Seattle
Proudest achievement to date: I have started a few charities in the past, “Links of Love” and “Helping Hands of Haiti” both of which provided disaster relief for over 500 families. A lot of hard-work and time was put into running these charities but in the end the opportunity to positively impact somebody else’s life was most rewarding.
Favourite thing about Calgary: Being so close to my family and friends. I was born and raised in this city, and while I have lived in many different places around the world, Calgary has always been home.
Favourite restaurant: Les Enfants Perdus in Paris, France
Most prized possession: My English Bulldogs
Top Outrider appearance to attend: Children’s Hospital
Reality TV show I’d most like to be on: I actually don’t watch TV.
Favourite day of the year: Christmas
Favourite book: Giving – Bill Clinton
First thing I’d buy after winning the lottery: I would allocate a portion to my family, a portion to charity and then I would invest the rest.
My biggest inspiration: My mom – she is so well-rounded and does everything with grace and class.
Dream job: I currently work in Capital Markets (equity research) in the Energy Sector. I have always taken an interest in the stock market and I am particularly interested in biotech/healthcare stocks. Therefore, after completing my Masters, I began my PhD in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Alberta and am studying towards obtaining my CFA. I hope to utilize my background in finance and my doctorate in medicine to work in the Biotechnology and Health Care sector.
One thing on my bucket list: Volunteer in India
