Years on the Outriders: 1
Education & Career: 2nd year BSc in Exercise and Health Physiology at UofC
What inspired you to audition for The Outriders?
Finding opportunities to dance after high school is not as easy as one may think. The Outriders provide the perfect
opportunity to continue pursuing this passion with so many incredible added bonuses. This led me to auditioning and I am
so grateful for it all!
What is your all time dance career highlight?
I would have to say performing with Justin Bieber on his Purpose Tour when I was only 11. I will never shut up about it as it was literally the coolest experience ever. Talking more recently, I would probably say attending Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto!
Who is someone you admire, and why?
I can’t choose just one person so I’m going to say both my mom and dad. They are my best friends and I am constantly
amazed at the kindness, patience, and support they both show towards me and my 3 younger siblings. They have such
busy lives and yet you will always see them at any game, performance, etc. Everyone says it but I genuinely owe them
everything.
What organization are you most excited to work with this season?
As it is my first year, I haven’t had a chance to work with any organizations yet and I’m not sure what opportunities are lined up for us this year! But I am super excited for any chance I have to get involved with the community.
If you were a superhero, what superpower would you have?
Teleportation. I would ditch the cold so quickly.
What advice would you give someone who wants to join the Outriders?
Definitely make sure to attend our drop-in classes throughout the season! In these classes you can get a taste of the
Outriders distinct dance style and let the coaches see how well you fit in with the rest of the team. This gives you an
advantage prior to actual auditions. While it may all seem intimidating, know that the girls on the team are some of the most genuine souls and we are all connected simply through our love for dance. Put yourself out there and let the coaches see your personality!
