Education/Career: Nursing student at the University of Calgary
Dance Career Highlight: It will always be performing with Justin Bieber at one of his shows during his Purpose Tour. I think about it daily but it still feels like a dream.
Performing sideline routines or on-field routines?: Sideline routines! I love the fast pace, variety, and being close enough to feed off the crowd’s energy all game long.
Pre Game Ritual: I like to go for a walk to a nearby coffee shop or to get a smoothie bowl in the morning. It puts me in the best mindset before kickoff.
What are you looking most forward to with Calgary hosting this years Grey Cup?: I’m really looking forward to the energy that Grey Cup week will bring to Calgary. It will be exciting to see fans and teams from across the country come together and experience everything that makes our city and organization so special.
Relax or Celebrate post win?: Definitely celebrate! There’s nothing better than dressing up and celebrating a big win with the team while everyone is still full of excitement and adrenaline.
A song that makes you think about the Outriders: “Burn it to the ground”. Duh. The second it comes on, we’re ready to start a kick line no matter where we are.
Best part about community outreach with the Stampeders: I love that we get to meet so many people who are doing such good things for the community. The Alberta Children’s Hospital visits are my favourite. We always have so much fun connecting with the kids!
Who would be your dream artist to dance on tour with?: Justin Bieber would still be my dream artist to dance with. Performing at one of his shows was unforgettable and I could never get enough of it.
What’s something on your bucket list?: One of the biggest things on my bucket list is traveling to Greece with my friends and living out my real-life Mamma Mia dream.
Favourite game of the season: Stampede Bowl is my favourite game of the season. I love that it’s a fun new tradition and that it kicks off one of the most exciting times of the year in Calgary. The energy in the stadium is amazing, and the extra entertainment makes it even more exciting!
Favourite family tradition: Every year for Christmas, my family takes a trip together somewhere new. Last year we traveled to South Africa, and it was such an unforgettable experience. It’s one of my favourite traditions because it’s the one time of year where all of us can step away from our busy schedules, spend quality time together, and make new memories.
If your teammates could describe you in three words, what would they be?: Hardworking, kind, generous
Who is someone that inspires you?: My younger sister inspires me every day. She’s incredibly hardworking and talented while being the most selfless human I know. She always pushes herself to be better while still caring so much about the people around her.
