Years on the Team: This is my first year on the team!
Education/Career: I work in the front office, doing estimates and admin, at an auto body shop.
Dance Career Highlight: One of my most memorable dance career highlights was when I completed my very first “self choreographed” lyrical solo. When I came off stage my teacher was crying, and it just made me feel very proud of myself.
Performing sideline routines or on-field routines?: I completed the Outriders excelerateprogram last year, and I loved performing the on-field routine. The football field is a giant stage, and I feel right at home.
Pre Game Ritual: Since it’s my first year on the team, I’m sure I’ll develop a few rituals throughout the season. But for now I’d say, the trusty “shake out the nerves”. No matter how many practices, and times I’ve been on stage, I always get nervous right before performing.
What are you looking most forward to with Calgary hosting this year’s Grey Cup?: I’m most excited about getting to be a part of the Grey Cup, and experience that special event with the girls!
Relax or Celebrate post win?: No matter what, I choose to go home and relax after, haha.
A song that makes you think about the Outriders: The song that makes me think of the Outriders is “These boots are made for walking”. I think the Outriders just give off the same, amazing, girl boss vibes that the song does.
Best part about community outreach with the Stampeders: The best part about community outreach is being able to create genuine connections and positive experiences for people in the community. I love seeing how much it means to younger fans, being someone they look up to.
Who would be your dream artist to dance on tour with?: Hands down, my top pick would have to be Tate McRae. I think she is so cool, and her routines look so fun… extra points since she’s from Calgary!
What’s something on your bucket list?: Something on my bucket list would be, to take a vacation to Maui. It is so gorgeous there, and I’ve always wanted to visit.
Favourite game of the season: I’m pretty excited to be on the field this year for the first game of the season. Good vibes, nice weather & everyone is excited!
Favourite family tradition: My favourite family tradition would be, every Friday we go get bubble tea, and facetime my aunt, uncle, and cousins that live in Vancouver.
If your teammates could describe you in three words, what would they be?: Bubbly, enthusiastic, and friendly.
Who is someone that inspires you?: My mom inspires me the most, she could be juggling a million things and still be the nicest person in the world.
