Years on the Outriders: 6
Education & Career: I am a Communications Coordinator for ATCO EnPower, and I have a Bachelor’s Degree in
Marketing, Management, and Communications from Mount Royal University.
What inspired you to audition for The Outriders?
I’ve always been passionate about dance, and when I learned about The Outriders, I was immediately inspired to audition.
Their reputation for being more than just a team – a supportive family with unforgettable experiences – motivated me. I heard from friends about the incredible bond among Outriders, and I wanted to be part of that. Plus, the chance to represent the Calgary Stampeders, CSEC, and the city itself is something I’m really excited about.
What is your all-time dance career highlight?
My all-time dance career highlight would have to be the moment I performed on the field in front of thousands of people
during my first Stampeders game. It was an exhilarating experience to showcase my talent and to feel the energy of the
fans. Being able to share my passion for dance with so many people and seeing their positive reactions was truly
unforgettable.
Who is someone you admire, and why?
Someone I admire deeply is my mom. She has always been my source of strength and inspiration. Despite facing numerous
challenges, she always manages to stay positive and resilient. Her unwavering love, kindness, and selflessness are
qualities I strive to emulate every day. She has taught me the importance of perseverance, compassion, and always
believing in myself. I’m incredibly grateful to have her as my role model.
What organization are you most excited to work with this season?
I’m most excited to work with the Alberta Children’s Hospital this season. Visiting the children there is always inspiring, and I always look forward to bringing joy to them and having the opportunity to meet them. The opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives and support such an important cause is incredibly meaningful to me.
If you were a superhero, what superpower would you have?
If I were a superhero, I would choose invisibility as my superpower. The ability to move unseen would allow me to navigate
through situations with stealth and gather information discreetly. I could use it to help people in need, prevent crimes, and protect those who can’t protect themselves. Plus, it would be fun to sneak around and explore without anyone knowing!
What advice would you give someone who wants to join the Outriders?
First and foremost, I would advise them to be themselves and to showcase their unique talents and personality during
auditions. It’s important to demonstrate passion, dedication, and a positive attitude. Additionally, I would encourage them to stay open-minded and ready to learn from the experienced members of the team. Building relationships and being a
supportive teammate are key aspects of being an Outrider. Lastly, I would remind them to embrace every opportunity that
comes their way, whether it’s performing at events, engaging with the community, or representing the Calgary Stampeders
with pride.
