Grant Thornton is proud to team up with the Calgary Stampeders and the Alberta Children’s Hospital!

The partnership between the Calgary Stampeders and Alberta Children’s Hospital was launched in 2008 and has steadily grown ever since.

The Every Yard Counts Program is launched prior to the start of the Canadian Football League season with a visit to the Alberta Children’s Hospital by Stampeders players, members of the Outriders and Ralph the Dog. Grant Thornton is donating tickets all season long in support of the Every Yard Counts program!

In addition to the season-opening event, Stampeders players visit children in the hospital prior to every home game. The Stamps also play an annual wheelchair football game against a team of young hospital patients known as the Townsend Tigers. The Stamps have won more games than any other CFL teams in the past few years but they have yet to defeat the Tigers!
