Conteh was selected by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the third round (23rd overall) of the 2017 CFL draft and signed on May 12, 2017. He was released by the Bombers on Oct, 24, 2017, and re-signed on Dec. 11, 2017. Conteh was again released by Winnipeg at the conclusion of training camp in 2018 but he re-joined the Bombers on July 17, 2018. He was released a third time by Winnipeg on June 4, 2019.
(Winnipeg) Conteh was released by the Blue Bombers at the end of training camp but he re-signed with the club in Week 6. He dressed for 12 regular-season games and recorded five special-teams tackles. Conteh was in uniform for the Western Semi-Final against Saskatchewan – recording one special-teams tackle – and the Western Final against Calgary.
(Winnipeg) Conteh appeared in two games during his rookie season and did not record any stats. He made his CFL debut in a Week 8 contest in Hamilton.

Conteh played 15 games over two years (2015-16) at Grambling. He recorded 15 tackles including 1.5 tackles for loss. He was pressed into service as a kicker during the Tigers’ 2016 Southwestern Athletic Conference championship game against Alcorn State and booted three extra points as well as performing kickoff duties. Prior to Grambling, Conteh played two seasons of junior college football at North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, N.D.
Conteh was born in Sierra Leone and raised in Winnipeg. He played a single season of high-school football at Kildonan-East Collegiate in Winnipeg. Conteh also played basketball and soccer at Kildonan-East.
