  • 2022 – Selected by Calgary Stampeders (CFL) in third round (25th overall) of global draft and signed on May 6. He was released on May 1, 2023

 

2023

(Calgary) Devine-Scott dressed for seven games and saw action on special teams and as a reserve defensive back. He made eight special-teams tackles and two defensive stops. After starting the season on the practice roster, Devine-Scott was activated for a Week 7 contest against Ottawa and had three tackles – two on defence and one on special teams. He had a pair of special-teams tackles in three different games – in Week 14 at Edmonton, in Week 16 against Montreal and in Week 20 at BC. Devine-Scott was in uniform for the Western Semi-Final at BC and had one special-teams tackle.

 

2022

(Calgary) Devine-Scott played four games during his rookie season and had two defensive tackles and two special-teams tackles. He made his CFL debut in Week 1 against Montreal and recorded two two-special-teams stops. Both of his defensive tackles came in a Week 15 contest against BC.

College

Devine-Scott played three seasons at Western New England, a Division III school in Springfield, Mass. In 24 career games at safety for the Golden Bears, he made 133 tackles including three tackles for loss, and had 16 pass breakups, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Devine-Scott was a two-time first-team all-Commonwealth Coast Conference player and won the CCC’s Senior Perseverance and Achievement Award winner in 2021. He was the first Golden Bear selected to the Tropical Bowl when he participated in 2022.

 

Personal

Devine-Scott studied mechanical engineering at Western New England. He was a U-19 Gridiron Australia captain after making the switch from rugby.
