• 2021 – Signed as undrafted free agent by Los Angeles Chargers (NFL) on May 14. He was active for three games and spent the rest of the season on the practice squad
• 2022 – Signed to futures contract by Chargers on Jan. 11. He was waived on Aug. 30
• 2022 – Drafted by St. Louis BattleHawks (XFL) on Nov. 17. He dressed for five games with St. Louis in 2023 and had 25 tackles.
• 2024 – Signed by St. Louis BattleHawks (UFL) on Jan. 29. He appeared in four games and made four tackles

College           

DeLuca played 43 games over five years (2016-20) at UNC Charlotte. He had 313 career tackles for the 49ers and also had two sacks, four interceptions, six fumble recoveries, nine forced fumbles and 17 pass breakups. The totals for tackles, forced fumbles, fumble recoveries and pass breakups were all tops n 49ers program history at the conclusion of his collegiate career. DeLuca was a five-time member of the Conference USA academic honour roll.

Personal

DeLuca was part of a state championship team in 2015 at Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando, Fla. He was a three-year starter for the Hornets and was a second-team all-state selection as a senior after recording 127 tackles. DeLuca earned a communications degree at UNC Charlotte.
