(Calgary/Saskatchewan) Fair attended training camp with the Stampeders and participated in both pre-season games, successfully converting on both of his field-goal attempts and executing four kickoffs. He was released at the conclusion of training camp and had a stint on Saskatchewan’s practice roster before returning to the University of Ottawa for his final season.
College
Fair played 36 games over five seasons (2018-19, 2021-23) at the University of Ottawa. In 2023, he earned second-team Ontario University Athletics all-star punter honours after averaging 42.3 yards on 55 punts. Fair accounted for 57 points in eight regular-season games for the Gee-Gees including a game-winning 55-yard field goal on the final play of Ottawa’s rivalry game against Carleton. He was 14 for 20 on field goals and 11 for 12 on extra points. Fair added 10 points – three field goals and a single – in the Gee-Gees’ playoff loss to Queen’s. For his career, he was 62 of 88 on field goals and 80 of 83 on extra points with 15 singles for a total of 281 points. Fair also punted 153 times for a 39.3-yard average.
Personal
Fair attended Nicholson Catholic College in Belleville, Ont. In minor football, he saw action as a receiver and defensive back in addition to kicking.
